This past Sunday saw a wood collection gang. Due to the weather only our members pickup truck was used but a couple of trips saw all the empty wagons filled. With this solid demolition timber supply we can steam twice on all the timber stored on the wagons... lets hope this supply doesn't dry up anytime soon!

Private Visit
Many thanks to South Somerset Agricultural Preservation Club who organised a private steaming for this evening. About 60 of there members turned out and a great evening was had by all! Hopefully a few of the present members might bring some agricultural items along to next years steam on the levels!
Roofing on...
The roofing continues over the Marshall boiler. All that's left is the flashing around the chimney and the rest of the ridge.

The Calm Before the Storm!
Given a brief rest bite from the rain... a bit of grass mowing to tidy the site up! This section was only mowed 4 days ago! Also some shots of the new boiler building progressing. About 3/4 of the roof applied, just the tricky bit around the chimney to do!

Steam on the Levels Images
Some images from over the weekend... if you like what you see come along next year on the 18th & 19th of May 2013. Steam on the Levels Website
under cover...
Images showing the start of the new building over the Marshall Boiler. At current the boiler is uninsulated but before it can be given a jumper the british rain must be kept off! One donation of I section steels later, some z perlins and donated wiggly tin... hey presto the beginnings of a new building.
